Women experience unique health issues and conditions, from pregnancy and menopause to gynaecological conditions, such as uterine fibroids and pelvic floor disorders. Our female (and male Doctors) are able to assist you in these matters and many more.
A simple pap test every 2 years can detect early signs of cervical cancer. We have a nurse that is able to complete your pap test with the Doctor as well as female Doctor to perform this important screening test.
NEW GUIDELINES ON PAP TEST SCREENING COMMENCE DECEMBER 2017.
Under the new guidelines, screening for cervical cancer is extended to 5 yearly for low risk women. Self collection is also an option for a select group of women. Please make an appointment to discuss your risk factors with your GP or practice nurse.
